Kamal Kapuk water channel that is located in Tegal Alur, West Jakarta is in normalization process. Besides that, some points will also be widened.

“We’ve started the normalization about 300 meters long since three days ago. And now this is just continued process,” said Pahala Tua, Head of West Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department, Monday (12/28).
Channel on Jalan Taman Margasatwa CleanedHe staed the channel has length at least 1 kilometer and depth 20 cm. Ideally, it should have width 1.5 meters.
“The channel has not been dredged for 10 years,” he expressed.
As much as 20 officers from Water Management Sub-Department and 1 heavy equipment were deployed for cleaning the channel.
